GLM AND WHEREOWARE EXPAND ONLINE CATALOG GALLERY
- Strong Debut at NYIGF Leads to Additional Shows -
WHITE PLAINS, NY, November 3, 2008 …GLM®, a dmg world media business and Whereoware have expanded the Online Catalog Gallery – a visual product finder – to websites for the National Stationery Show®, The Gourmet Housewares Show®, The Supply Side® and the West Coast Gift Shows in Los Angeles, Portland, San Francisco and Seattle, effective immediately. The Catalog Gallery program launched in spring 2008, on the New York International Gift Fair® (NYIGF®) website, and generated more than 6,000 leads and received more than 3.5 million catalog page views.

July 15, 2008 – Los Angeles, CA: …Call it a gift show within a gift show: this year marks the first time that a local collaborative of Los Angeles neighborhood businesses will participate in the California Gift Show. The recently formed La Cienega South Design and Art District (LSDAD) is a group of companies that complement one another in the design and art world that are based in and around La Cienega Boulevard South in Culver City. LSDAD will set up shop along side over 1,000 other exhibitors that will attract over 2,500 product lines for an anticipated 20,000 attendees at this year’s show. The Show will run July 18-21, 2008 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

"Gifts that Give" program at the California Gift Show continues to attract more exhibitors who want to give back to their community
Retailers can buy African handicrafts, support the Fair Trade Federation and help fund cancer research in Miami...all at the Los Angeles summer edition of the California Gift Show®. All of this will happen through the "Gifts That Give" program that allows the Show's exhibitors to donate a portion of their sales to a wide range of worthy charitable organizations. Just some of the causes that will benefit from this program are animal rights, environmental protection, medical research and direct care.

ED BEGLEY JR. TO LEAD GREEN PANEL AT CALIFORNIA GIFT SHOW

CALIFORNIA GIFT SHOW JOINS SUSTAINABLE FURNITURE COUNCIL
- Show Reaffirms ‘Green’ Commitment with Coalition Membership -
WHITE PLAINS, NY, March 18, 2008…In line with its commitment to eco-friendly initiatives, the California Gift Show® has joined the Sustainable Furniture Council (SFC). The Sustainable Furniture Council is a non-profit coalition of some 160 industry players, created to promote sustainable practices among manufacturers, retailers and consumers. In addition, the California Gift Show and the Sustainable Furniture Council are planning a pavilion within the At Home division of the Show to present exhibiting members of the Council. The next edition of the California Gift Show will take place July 18-21, 2008, at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
